Fees & Insurance

Payment is due at the time of service either by cash, check, or money order. You will be billed for all time spent with you or on your behalf, such as therapists’ time spent preparing reports, reading letters and documents, consultations, travel time for “out of office” services, and (extended) telephone calls.   Discuss with your therapist the current fee schedules and procedures- which may differ depending on children, adults, professional, and service.

If you maintain health insurance, part of your therapy expenses may be reimbursed to you. We will provide you with a receipt that you can send to your insurance company for reimbursement. You must check your policy manual or call your insurance company for details about your policy limits and coverage (deductible, co-pays, in-network or out-of-network rates, etc.). Be aware that whoever is the insurance policy holder, that person will get a copy of the explanation of benefits. Remember, if fees you expect your insurance company to cover are rejected for any reason, these fees remain the client’s responsibility to pay.

Please Note: Due to the drastic changes in the provider agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL, it has become prohibitive for any of our therapists with a Master's Degree to continue as a preferred provider for BCBS. As a result, effective 1/1/12, only Dr. Bradley Olson and Dr. Daniel Goff continue as Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO providers in the state of Illinois (under the group name “Arlington Counseling Associates"). For BCBS/IL members who see Dr. Olson or Dr. Goff, we will process the claims for services and accept your co-payment as determined by your plan.

Please Note: Dr. Dickie Kay is an independent consulting psychiatrist

for The Arlington Center. He sees clients in our office two mornings a week. The remainder of the time he works with patients at his private practice ("North Park Clinic") in Park Ridge, IL.

Dr. Kay manages his own schedule and cannot be reached through our office.  Please contact him through his office at 847- 692- 7101

Hours

Each therapist manages their own appointments and determines their hours and availability according to their schedule. With such a large staff of therapists, it is likely that we will be able to schedule appointments at times that fit the client's needs.
