Our Center offers an empirically tested, parent training program.
This program is based on longstanding research which has been adapted by one of the foremost authorities on ADHD, Dr. Russell Barkley, and by therapists at The Arlington Center for ADD.  It has been shown to be highly effective for children with: Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Low Self-Esteem, Noncompliance, Strong Willed Behaviors & Behavior Disorders.

Kerry DeVries, M.A., is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). She graduated
from Taylor University with a B.A. in psychology and completed her graduate work at Ball
State University with an M.A. in counseling and social psychology. Prior to coming to The Arlington Center, she worked with behavior disordered and learning disabled children in multiple treatment settings, including day treatment-therapeutic day school settings. She
has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in the
treatment of ADD/ADHD, anxiety and phobia disorders, eating disorders, and depression.
She has experience running parent training groups for parents of ADD/ADHD and
Oppositional Defiant Disordered children. Kerry has an interest in working with women
who struggle with infertility issues. She is also and EMDR-certified therapist.
